AI agent opportunity assessment
Most agent projects stall because nobody has named the workflow, the data, or the risk. An AI agent opportunity assessment does that in two weeks. We sit with the people who do the work, map the systems an agent would need to read or update, and score each candidate on value, data readiness, and how much human review it needs. You leave with a ranked backlog and a recommended first build, not a slide deck about what agents might do someday.
What's included
- Workflow inventory with the people who do the work: intake, triage, drafting, research, routing, approvals
- Data map: where the source material lives in SharePoint, Teams, email, and line-of-business systems, and who can see it
- Identity and security constraints: Entra ID, sensitivity labels, and the data an agent must not touch
- Fit scoring for each candidate: value, data readiness, risk, and the human review it still needs
- A recommended first engagement, with the others sequenced behind it
- Licensing and hosting shape: Azure AI, Microsoft 365, or a direct model API, with a cost outline
- A written report and a debrief call
How we work
Scope
A fixed statement of work: what we will do, what you receive, and the timeline. Agreed before any work starts.
Execute
We do the work in your tenant with least-privilege access, with updates at defined checkpoints, not radio silence.
Hand off
Documentation, runbooks, and a walkthrough so your team can operate what we built.
AI Agent Opportunity Assessment: common questions
How long does an AI agent assessment take?
Two weeks from kickoff to debrief. The first days are conversations with the people who do the work and a read-only look at the systems those workflows touch. The rest is scoring and the report.
What access do you need?
Time with the team that owns the candidate workflows, and read access to the Microsoft 365 locations those workflows use. Nothing in production is changed.
Do we have to build the agent with you afterward?
No. The backlog and the report stand on their own. If you want us to build the first item, that is a separate statement of work.
How is this different from the AI engineering engagement?
This decides what is worth building, and in what order. The workflow, knowledge, and AI engineering engagements are how a chosen item gets built.
How much does it cost?
It is a fixed-scope engagement quoted up front in a written statement of work, so the price and the deliverables are agreed before any work starts.
